Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality web applications and APIs using Laravel.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, plan, and execute development tasks.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms across multiple systems.
- Create and optimize database schemas and complex SQL queries to support business processes.
- Integrate and manage third-party services like payment gateways, SMS gateways, etc.
- Ensure code quality and performance through regular code reviews and unit testing.
- Work with Agile/Scrum methodologies to deliver projects on time.
- Use Git/GitHub for version control and maintain clean, well-documented code.
- Deploy and manage applications using Docker, Kubernetes, Laravel Vapor, or Forge.
- Troubleshoot issues, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve application performance.
Key Skills
- 8-10 years of experience in developing web applications and APIs.
- Strong proficiency with PHP and Laravel Framework.
- Solid understanding of PHP object-oriented programming concepts.
- Expertise in MySQL, including writing complex queries and optimizing performance.
- Familiarity with caching mechanisms and best practices.
- Experience working with XML/JSON and integrating third-party APIs.
- Knowledge of implementing and managing microservices-based applications.
- Strong understanding of SQL Injection, XSS prevention, and overall application security best practices.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum) and working in cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of Repository and Service patterns in Laravel.
- Familiarity with cloud services like AWS.
Good to Have
- Experience with Stored Procedures, Triggers, Views, and Indexing.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
- Front-end skills in Angular/ReactJS, HTML, CSS (responsive design), JavaScript/jQuery.
- Comfort with Linux command-line tools.
- Awareness of accessibility and security compliance standards.
